From Zero to Hope: Celebrating 2 Years of Impact

Happy 2nd Birthday, Aruka!

Two years ago today, we officially became a registered charity. One year ago, we welcomed our first full- and part-time staff: Co-Founder & CEO Andy McDougall and COO Esther O’Connor, and built a committed team of volunteers.

Since then, our small but passionate team has worked tirelessly, and together we’ve seen incredible progress:

Reached 1,361 people through outreach

Delivered 346 key working sessions

Referred 30 individuals to rehab

Supported 21 people into a suitable rehab placement

And today, several of those we’ve journeyed with are now living drug-free lives filled with hope and purpose!
