The Role
We are seeking a Male Addiction Recovery Support Worker to join our team in Motherwell and Cumbernaud. You will walk alongside men in recovery, providing practical support, encouragement, and accountability as they build new lives free from addiction.
This is a frontline role where you will:
Build trusted, supportive relationships with men in recovery.
Deliver one-to-one and group support sessions.
Assist with care planning, goal-setting, and progress reviews.
Signpost and liaise with partner agencies (housing, health, training, employment).
Help create a safe, welcoming, faith-based community where people can encounter hope and belonging.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience of supporting vulnerable people (addiction, homelessness, or mental health desirable).
Brings strong listening, communication, and relational skills.
Is resilient, compassionate, and able to work calmly in challenging situations.
Is comfortable working within a Christian ethos, praying with and for clients, and sharing faith appropriately.
Is willing to work flexibly, including some evenings and weekends.
Legal Requirements
